Location: Somerset - Bridgwater, Shepton Mallet, Crewkerne, Burnham-on-Sea and surrounding areas

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced Outdoor Learning Practitioners, Forest School Leaders and Animal-Assisted Learning Practitioners to deliver Alternative Provision for children and young people across Somerset.
These opportunities support learners who may struggle to engage with traditional classroom-based education and benefit from practical, hands-on and outdoor learning experiences.
The Role:
Deliver engaging outdoor or practical learning activities.
Support children and young people with autism, SEMH, anxiety and other SEND needs.
Use activities such as forest school, animal care, gardening, construction or land-based learning to build confidence.
Develop independence, communication, teamwork and emotional regulation.
Provide safe, structured and individualised learning experiences.
Work towards agreed educational and personal development outcomes.
Maintain appropriate safeguarding and risk assessment procedures.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in outdoor education, forest school, animal care or vocational learning.
Experience supporting SEND/SEMH learners.
Relevant specialist qualifications where required for the activities delivered.
Strong understanding of health and safety and risk assessments.
Enhanced DBS and appropriate safeguarding checks.
Access to a suitable learning environment or ability to deliver at an agreed venue would be advantageous.
