Outdoor Activity Instructor

The Role

​​We are seeking a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Outdoor Activity Instructor to deliver high quality outdoor learning programmes using a range of on-site or local outdoor activities. 

These could include: Climbing Tower, High and Low Ropes, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Team Challenges, Hill Walks.

​You will hold a Paddle Sports Instructor Award or Climbing Wall Instructor Award as a minimum, ideally both.

• ​​​Salary:  £27,976 pro-rata
• Contract Term: May - August (dates negotiable)
• Hours: 40 hours a week
• Closing date: On appointment of the successful candidate.
• Hours of work: 8.30-5.30 Mon-Fri, plus some evening and weekend working.​

The Longtown Team

We have a team of around 14 people, including apprentices, with some living onsite and others living in neighbouring towns and villages. We also have a network of 8-10 freelance instructors. As we are a small team, it is important that we work closely together and support each other to deliver the best customer experience we can. Which is why everyone helps out in different departments when required.
