We are seeking a motivated and proactive Operations Manager, ideally with a legal, commercial or consultancy background, to join our Head Office team at TotalSim Group.
Established in 2007 with roots in Formula 1, TotalSim Ltd has grown into a diverse group of companies. Our expertise spans CFD engineering and development (aero) across sectors including motorsport, automotive, aerospace, and renewables, alongside an innovative division focused on cutting-edge sports performance technology (Vorteq Sports Ltd) and physical testing through our performance wind tunnel (Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub) and vehicle testing facilities (Catesby Projects Ltd and Catesby Tunnel Ltd) working closely with pro cycling teams; Olympic and national teams and major car manufacturers.
The Role:
This is a varied and hands-on role supporting multiple companies across the Group. Key responsibilities include:
Leases: Managing intergroup and third-party leases, including overseeing the creation of agreements for equipment and property in collaboration with external lawyers
Contracts: Reviewing supplier service agreements and client NDAs
Loan Documentation: Supporting secured and unsecured lending arrangements
HR Support: Working alongside external HR lawyers on employment-related matters
Compliance & Renewals: Managing renewals and periodic reviews of legal and operational documents
Additional Responsibilities:
* Conveyancing matters
* Liaising with insurers
* Supporting dispute resolution processes
* Assisting with business rates challenges
Process Improvement: Implementing and enhancing internal procedures, including communication with subsidiary managers
Health & Safety: Coordinating health and safety activities across the Group
Reporting: Providing data and insights for management and board meetings
Administration: Recording meeting actions and ensuring follow-up and completion
About You:
We are looking for someone:
* Ideally with 10+ years’ experience in a legal, commercial management, compliance, or consultancy role
* Seeking a part-time position
* Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
* An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
* A self-starter who can work independently while also contributing as part of a team
