About the Role

A welcoming and supportive nursery in Beaconsfield is seeking enthusiastic and nurturing Nursery Assistants to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children during their early years development within a safe, engaging, and child-centred environment.

The nursery is looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based activities and positive interactions. Flexible opportunities are available for candidates seeking 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with set working hours of 8:00am – 6:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

* Support children aged 0–5 with their daily learning and development

* Assist in delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework

* Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive nursery environment

* Support children's social, emotional, physical, and communication development

* Assist with daily routines including mealtimes, toileting, and transitions

* Observe and report on children's progress where required

* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

* Promote safeguarding and maintain high standards of care at all times

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching & Learning

* Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* Right to Work in the UK

Desirable:

* Knowledge of the EYFS framework

* Paediatric First Aid qualification

* Experience supporting children with additional needs

* CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
