Salary: £38,000 – £55,000 per year (dependent on experience and hours worked)

The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established logistics and transport specialist dedicated to delivering reliable freight, warehousing, and vehicle maintenance solutions.
They are seeking a reliable and motivated Night Operations / Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. This role combines hands-on warehouse duties with operational support and customer liaison, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, night-time environment.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring night operations run smoothly, stock moves efficiently, and customers receive excellent service.
What You’ll Be Doing
Overseeing night-time warehouse operations and supporting colleagues
Loading, unloading, and moving stock safely and efficiently
Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Liaising with customers via phone, email, and in person
Completing basic administrative and operational tasks
Maintaining a safe, secure, and organised working environment
Assisting with problem-solving and operational improvements
Occasional HGV shunting if qualified
What We’re Looking For
Forklift licence required
CO trained with 5 years’ verifiable employment history
Class 1 (C+E) licence for occasional HGV shunting, an advantage
Experience in fast-paced logistics or warehouse environments, an advantage
Basic to intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, email)
Previous warehouse and/or night operations experience preferred
Strong communication and customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and flexible
