The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Music and Drama to join our creative arts faculty. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5), inspiring students to develop their performance, composition, and theatrical skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in both Music and Drama, catering to a range of abilities

* Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence through performance and practical work

* Lead and support extracurricular activities such as school productions, concerts, and clubs

* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies

* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Music and Drama curriculum

* Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

* Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development

Person Specification

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Degree in Music, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject

* Ability to teach both Music and Drama confidently

* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the performing arts

* Excellent communication and classroom management skills

* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
