Role: Multi-Skilled Security Engineer
Job Purpose: To install, maintain, service and repair a range of electronic security systems, ensuring all equipment operates reliably and meets customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, service and maintain CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and door entry systems.
* Diagnose and resolve faults across a range of security systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs.
* Complete commissioning, system testing and handover documentation.
* Provide excellent customer service and professional technical support.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety requirements and industry standards.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience in electronic security system installation and maintenance.
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
Desirable:
* Experience with IP CCTV, networked systems and integrated security solutions.
* Relevant industry qualifications, such as ECS/CSCS or manufacturer training.
* Knowledge of NSI/SSAIB requirements and relevant British Standards
