Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment are supporting an established manufacturing business based in York and we are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join thier engineering team. This is a hands-on role supporting site operations through effective maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and site equipment

*

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently

*

Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

*

Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards

*

Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery

*

Maintain accurate maintenance records

Skills & Experience:

*

Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing environment

*

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability

*

Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship)

*

Experience with PLC fault finding desirable

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Flexible approach to working hours (shift work may apply)
