Job description:
Our client, an international manufacturer who is renowned for its well-known household brands, is currently on the look-out for a Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical bias to join their team. We are looking for someone who is confident in taking ownership of their work, demonstrating accountability and responsibility on site. A proactive approach, positive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.

Job details:
* Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.
* Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime.
* Identify and support initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
* Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3)
* Previous experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment (Essential).
* Strong fault-finding capabilities.
* PLC fault-finding experience.
* Familiar with packaging lines, drives, conveyors, rotating machinery, pumping equipment and valves.
* Competent in safe working procedures.
