An forward-thinking FE College on the Surrey/South West London border is seeking a Motorsport & Motor Vehicle Lecturer to deliver high-quality technical training and lead students trackside.
The Role:
Teach and assess students across City & Guilds Levels 1 & 2 and IMI Level 2 automotive and motorsport courses.
Deliver practical workshop instruction and theoretical lessons covering light vehicle maintenance, repair, and performance systems.
Support, mentor, and guide students during trackside race weekends (approximately 7 per year) working directly alongside the college race team.
Track learner progress and ensure safe, industry-standard workshop practices.
Requirements:
Level 3 City & Guilds or IMI automotive qualification (or equivalent).
Proven industry experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, ideally with a motorsport or performance background.
Practical knowledge or experience with hybrid and electric vehicles (EV).
Teaching qualification or assessor award is beneficial but not essential; industry professionals looking to transition to education will be fully supported.
