An established and growing building services consultancy in Liverpool is looking to bring in a Graduate / Junior Mechanical Design Engineer as part of the continued expansion of its mechanical design team.
The consultancy delivers mechanical, electrical and public health design across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education and industrial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative design environment, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer to develop within HVAC and mechanical building services design.
The Role
Working alongside senior engineers, you will support the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems across a variety of projects.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting with HVAC system design including heating, cooling and ventilation systems

Supporting domestic hot and cold water system design
*
Producing BIM models and coordinated design drawings
*
Assisting with technical calculations and design documentation
*
Supporting design coordination with electrical and public health teams
Requirements
*
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
*
Strong interest in building services design
*
Exposure to software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Hevacomp or IES desirable
