Key Responsibilities of the Role:
* Project Management
* Prepare relevant reports
* Management of Design Consultants and Building Contractors
* Provide solutions and cost projections
* Management of Site Design and Construction processes
* Planning of all resources including labour, materials, and sub-contractors
* To manage and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines
* Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
* Ensure project profitability
* Commissioning projects
* Reporting on construction progress
Essential Criteria for the Role:
* Good strong knowledge of the full design and construction process
* Ability to control and manage people and programs
* A trade background or a relevant third level qualification
* Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects
* A minimum of 4 years as a Mechanical Construction Manager
Desirable Criteria:
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
* Ability to drive a large-scale project
* A construction background.
