Our client is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join the team on a contract basis, supporting the delivery of high-impact marketing activity during a critical growth period. This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity to make an immediate difference within a respected and forward-thinking institution.

The Marketing Manager plays a strategic role in leading and optimising multi-channel marketing initiatives that align with commercial objectives, brand positioning, and growth targets. You will oversee the planning, development, and execution of both digital and traditional marketing campaigns while managing the day-to-day operations of the marketing function.

As Marketing Manager, you will also line-manage the Marketing Coordinator, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight to ensure consistently high-quality outputs and a collaborative, results-driven team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Campaign Delivery
The Marketing Manager will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels (email, SEO, social, web) and traditional media (TV, radio, print), ensuring alignment with brand and commercial strategy and consistency across all messaging.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
This Marketing Manager role includes direct line management of the Marketing Coordinator, acting as the main escalation point for operational issues while fostering a proactive and high-performing environment.

Content, Digital & Communications
The successful Marketing Manager will oversee content creation, SEO, paid digital activity, social media planning, email marketing, and PR activity, working closely with external agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across Sales, Customer Service, Onboarding, and Business Intelligence.

Analytics, Budget & Continuous Improvement
To succeed as a Marketing Manager, you will monitor KPIs, analyse campaign performance, manage departmental budgets, and use insight to drive continuous improvement and efficient use of resources.

Market Insight & Supplier Management
You will conduct market and competitor research to inform targeting and messaging, while coordinating external vendors and creative partners to ensure timely and accurate campaign delivery.

Person Specification

Essential:

Marketing industry experience

Strong digital marketing capability

Copywriting and content creation skills

Email marketing experience

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Strong organisational and project management ability

Confident using marketing analytics and CRM tools

Familiarity with project management platforms

Flexible, resilient, proactive, and adaptable

Desirable:

Degree educated

Relevant marketing qualification

Telecoms industry experience

Print procurement experience
