Marketing Manager
An interesting opportunity for a Commercially Focused Marketing Manager with experience of lead generation working for a growing PE backed manufacturing business based in Burscough.
Job role
You will work in a stand-alone role, reporting directly to the company CEO, you will be responsible for shaping the overall marketing strategy and overseeing its delivery. The focus of the role is on strategic direction, agency management, and ensuring all activity drives lead generation and commercial growth, while also maintaining and developing our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Strategy & Planning
*
Develop and own the annual marketing strategy, aligning objectives with overall business goals and growth targets
Lead Generation & Commercial Performance
*
Design and execute lead generation campaigns across digital and offline channels to build and nurture a qualified pipeline
*
Manage and optimise the full marketing funnel, from awareness and engagement through to lead capture and conversion
Agency & Digital Channel Management
*
Set the strategic direction for PPC, SEO, and content, and monitor and review agency performance on an ongoing basis, using data and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement and hold them accountable to agreed KPIs
*
Manage email marketing campaigns in-house, including list management, segmentation, automation, and performance optimisation
*
Plan and manage social media activity, ensuring content is aligned with both commercial and brand objectives
Brand & Content
*
Maintain and develop the company brand, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints
*
Develop and oversee a content strategy that supports both lead generation and brand positioning
Website & CRM Management
*
Manage and continuously improve the company website as a key lead generation tool, including landing page optimisation and user experience
*
Manage the CRM (HubSpot) to ensure accurate lead tracking, reporting, and campaign attribution
Essentials skills and qualifications
*
Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar commercially focused marketing role
*
Strong track record of delivering lead generation campaigns and driving measurable commercial results
*
A solid understanding of paid digital advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta) and SEO, experience in managing or overseeing agency delivery in these areas is a strong advantage
*
Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems, familiarity with HubSpot is a significant advantage
