Job Title: Manufacturing Team Leader – Precision Engineering

💰 Salary: £40,000 + overtime
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday

👋 About the Role:
Solution 47 Recruitment are working with a well-established precision engineering company based near Great Chesterford. Known for quality and stability, they’re now looking for a hands-on Production Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of their CNC- Welding and Production machine shop.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist or setter/operator ready to take the next step, or someone already leading a small team on the shop floor.

🔩 What You’ll Be Doing:

*

Leading a small team of CNC machinists (turning, milling, sliding head)

*

Coordinating daily workloads and ensuring production runs smoothly

*

Supporting with setups, troubleshooting and general workflow

*

Ensuring quality, output and safety standards are maintained

*

Communicating with planning and engineering to keep things on track

*

Mentoring junior team members and helping maintain a clean, efficient workshop

✅ What You’ll Need:

*

Solid background in Engineering in general

*

Experience in a Supervisory role , team leader or supervisor role

*

Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances

*

Confident communicator and natural organiser

*

Hands-on, supportive approach and a keen eye for quality
