As a Manufacturing Sales Engineer you will be required to:

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers

* Understand customer requirements and translate them into manufacturable solutions

* Prepare and deliver tailored technical presentations and proposals

* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness

* Identify new business opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives

* Provide accurate quotations and lead negotiations to contract closure

* Stay current with industry trends, materials, and machining technologies

* Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings

Candidate:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or engineering within the machining or CNC manufacturing industry

* Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, materials, and tolerances

* Proven track record of successful sales and customer relationship management

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite

* Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred

* Experience in aerospace, oil & gas, or defence sectors (preferred)

* Familiarity with ISO standards and quality assurance processes

* Self-starter with a proactive approach to business development

* Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally
