The Company
We are supporting a global engineering consultancy delivering complex programmes across the aerospace, defence, space, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Working in partnership with a key customer in Portsmouth, they are focused on improving manufacturing performance within a regulated environment.
Due to continued demand and ongoing improvement projects, they are now looking to appoint a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support a critical on-site recovery programme.
The Role
You will be embedded within a high-reliability manufacturing environment, taking responsibility for driving Quality. The role will focus on reducing non-conformances, improving process control, and strengthening quality culture across engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Support NC management and quality processes
Carry out root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, RCCA)
Ensure compliance with build and quality standardsRequirements
Experience as a Quality or Manufacturing Engineer in aerospace, defence, or similar sector
Experience in high-reliability manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of quality and compliance standards
