Salary £45,000 – £50,000, hybrid working with 2 days in the Windsor office and 3 days working from home. 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, employee discount schemes
As the Management Accountant, you will support senior leadership with accurate reporting, help drive effective financial decision making, and ensure balance sheet accounts and reconciliations are completed to a high standard. You will also support VAT returns, year-end processes, and work closely with department heads across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily reconciliation and input of sales transactions between internal systems
* Production of monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly VAT returns and reconciliations
* Assist with UK VAT (partial recovery)
* Monthly variance analysis across allocated cost centres, providing commentary and insight
* Business partnering with department heads to support financial decision-making
* Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including bank, prepayments, accruals, deferred income, fixed assets, payroll and tax accounts
* Assist with National Statistics reports and other regulatory submissions
* Support the production of year-end statutory accounts and liaise with auditors
* Line management of an Accounts Assistant
* Support transactional finance during periods of absence or high volume
* Assist with an upcoming finance systems project including OCR, expenses module and report development
Skills & Experience
* Newly qualified ACCA or CIMA
* Experience using NetSuite would be an advantage
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Able to prioritise, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent IT skills including Excel and MS Office
