SF Partners are working exclusively with a high-growth, multi-divisional business operating across project-led environments.
Following significant expansion, the business is looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant who can take ownership of divisional reporting while partnering closely with operational and senior leadership teams.
The role
You will support divisional leaders with a clear understanding of financial performance, including trading position, forecasts and cash flow. You will also work closely with the Financial Controller on group reporting and financial control.
Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing monthly management accounts with meaningful performance commentary
Owning the divisional balance sheet and associated controls
Managing and delivering the divisional budgeting process
Producing rolling forecasts and supporting cash-flow visibility
Business partnering with divisional leadership teams
Supporting tendering, contract costing and new project opportunities
Assisting with statutory audit and wider external compliance
Supporting the Financial Controller with consolidated group reporting
About you
The successful candidate will ideally bring:
Experience within construction, infrastructure or another project-led environment
Knowledge of long-term contracts and project accounting
The ability to explain financial performance clearly to non-finance stakeholders
A hands-on and commercially focused approach
Confidence working with divisional leaders and visiting operational sites
Experience using COINS or another project-based ERP system would be advantageous
