The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant to take on a varied and visible role within a dynamic group structure. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a central part in delivering accurate financial insight while building strong working relationships across multiple business units.

This is not a purely transactional role. You will influence decision-making, support operational leaders and contribute to the continued development of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across multiple entities

* Prepare high-quality monthly management accounts, providing clear commentary and insightful analysis to support strategic decisions

* Act as a trusted business partner to operational managers for specific businesses in the group

* Strengthen and enhance financial controls, identifying efficiencies and process improvements

* Support procurement and cost management activities, ensuring strong commercial governance

* Play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting cycle, working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop robust financial plans

* Prepare and submit VAT returns and maintain regulatory compliance

* Support statutory account preparation and liaise with external advisors on tax and audit matters

* Assist with the annual audit process

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function

Some travel to other group sites may be required, providing valuable operational exposure and variety.
