Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a well established and growing organisation to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business in Stirling, supporting key financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities while working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
The successful candidate will join a busy and supportive finance team, gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities and playing an important role in supporting business performance and decision making.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
* Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
* Produce financial reports and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight and support.
* Assist in maintaining and improving financial controls and processes.
* Identify opportunities to enhance reporting and drive efficiencies.
* Support internal and external audit requirements.
* Contribute to finance projects and wider business initiatives.
* Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required.
About You
* Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience.
* Previous experience in a management accounting or month-end focused role.
* Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
* Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business.
* Strong Excel skills and experience of working with finance systems.
* Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
