Management Accountant
Location: Mid Essex – Hybrid Working
Salary: £40-45,000
As this Team continue to take on workload from the wider business and from acquisitions they are looking for another experienced Management Accountant to join them.
This is a fast-paced Team, change happens often due to the nature of the business and organisation. You should be either a Qualified Accountant or actively studying towards ACCA or CIMA.  If you are looking for a busy and varied role that offers both change and challenge you would be well suited to this organisation and team.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate management information, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing valuable commercial insight to stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Produce meaningful analysis of income and expenditure against budget and forecast
Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting commentary
Deliver regular performance reporting and mid-month analysis
Complete month-end reconciliations and account reviews
Support budgeting, forecasting and annual planning processes
Assist with statutory accounts preparation and external audit requirements
Contribute to board packs and business review reporting
Support process improvement initiatives and help drive efficiencies across finance
Build strong working relationships with operational and commercial stakeholders
Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making
Support and mentor junior members of the finance team where appropriateAbout You
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting skills with a proactive and commercially minded approach.
Fully Qualified or Part-qualified accountancy status
Previous experience within a management accounting or financial reporting role
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Advanced Excel capability
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and confidence working with non-finance stakeholders
