Based in the UK head office, this Management Accountant role sits within a collaborative UK Finance team. You’ll play a key role in financial control, reporting, and insight, while also managing a small accounting team and supporting continuous improvement across finance processes.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Producing full monthly management accounts with clear analysis and commentary
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
* Managing and supporting a small general accounting team
* Partnering with the Financial Controller to review processes, controls and risk areas
* Preparing VAT returns and other statutory/government reporting
* Supporting group risk management and internal control frameworks
* Contributing to business intelligence and reporting tools
* Performing monthly OPEX variance analysis
* Supporting ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA or ACCA)
* Previous line management or team-lead experience
* Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
* Experience working with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) and BI tools (Tableau / Power BI)
* Background in a product-led business such as manufacturing, retail or distribution
* Comfortable working in a multi-currency environment
* Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing priorities
* Confident communicator with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
* Flexible, proactive and able to perform well under pressure
