Management Accountant
Lutterworth, Leicestershire - hybrid
Salary up to £35K + benefits
Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is for a full-time Management Accountant, although flexible working options would also be considered. This role is part of our existing Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager (Financial Operations), and is responsible for performing finance team day-to-day operations within the Financial Operations team. The position is based in our Lutterworth office.
Monthly management accounts:
Prepare and process month-end sales
Preparing operational reports for the Chief Operations
Year end/Interim accounts:
Liaise with external auditors and prepare responses to audit
Assist with preparation of new price lists and maintain data in finance
Day-to-day operations and systems maintenance:
Processing and payment of purchase invoices for all
Preparing and processing sales invoices for trading
Update opportunities in Salesforce and maintenance deferred revenue
Setting up new customer and supplier accounts within finance
Managing and tracking timesheet submissions by UK and US Professional Services teams.
In the absence of the Finance Manager cover tasks as
Assist Financial Controller with ad hoc
Manage and maintain working of systems for finance and contribute to new software initiatives.
Continuous improvement of policies and
Skills and Experience:
CIMA, ACA /ACCA part-qualified (training contract would be offered for exams and study).
Strong systems skills with knowledge of general ledger packages (ideally Access Accounts) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to think creatively as well as
Able to work under own initiative and as a member of a
Able to work under pressure and to tight
Knowledge and/or experience of the software Industry would be
