Axon Moore are partnering with a growing organisation in Preston to recruit a newly created Management Accountant position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part or newly qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career and move into a varied, commercially focused role. You’ll gain exposure across the wider business, with the opportunity to contribute beyond the traditional finance function and play a key role in supporting continued growth.
We’re looking for a high energy, proactive and inquisitive accountant who enjoys being hands on, gets involved in the detail and is keen to make a genuine impact. Previous experience of month-end processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Preparation and maintenance of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation and review of monthly P&L accounts
Supporting the annual statutory audit process
Preparation of statutory accounts
Taking full ownership and accountability for balance sheet reporting and accuracy
Acting as a key finance contact and business partner across multiple divisions
Supporting ad hoc projects and wider finance initiatives
The business is continuing to expand and strengthen its national presence, creating an exciting environment for a finance professional who wants to be more than just a numbers person.
This role offers significant scope to add value, identify efficiencies, introduce new ideas and contribute to business improvement initiatives across a forward-thinking finance function.
