This role goes beyond traditional month-end reporting – you’ll be encouraged to question, challenge and influence, using data to support better business decisions.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Balance sheet reconciliations involving high-volume, complex data
* Accruals, prepayments and journal postings
* Detailed variance analysis and investigation
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Cost centre analysis and performance tracking
* Intercompany reconciliations and postings
* Payroll reconciliations and variance investigation
* Supporting VAT reporting across multiple entities
* Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance
About you:
* Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) and actively studying
* Strong experience with balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts
* Confident working with large, complex data sets
* Naturally analytical with a proactive, investigative mindset
* A tenacious problem solver who enjoys getting into the detail
* Comfortable challenging stakeholders and asking the right questions
* Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
