About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a market leading, dynamic SME group. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a growing business, supporting financial performance and influencing decision-making across multiple operating units.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and continuous improvement across finance processes. You’ll also have the opportunity to supervise and develop team members, making this a great step for someone looking to progress their career.
 
Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and fixed asset register
Lead the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and variance analysis
Deliver meaningful financial insights, including sales and profitability analysis across divisions, brands, and projects
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Manage and monitor stock across multiple locations, supporting stock takes and reconciliation
Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, translating financial data into actionable insight
Ensure compliance with CIS and IR35 regulations
Support year-end processes, including audit preparation and reporting packs
Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and reporting
Supervise and support the development of junior team membersAbout You
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with a proactive, commercial mindset.
You will ideally have:

Later stages studier or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant or be a strong qualified by experience
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with ERP Systems
Excellent analytical ability with a keen eye for detail
Experience producing management accounts and financial analysis
The ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
