We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing site, keeping operations running smoothly through both proactive and reactive maintenance.
What you’ll be doing:
* Responding quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
* Carrying out scheduled maintenance to prevent future issues
* Root cause analysis and corrective improvements to reduce downtime
* Supporting production teams and ensuring technical cover across shifts
* Keeping accurate maintenance records and reporting breakdown data
* Maintaining high standards of health & safety, GMP and hygiene at all times
* Assisting with projects, shutdowns, and providing overtime cover when needed
What we’re looking for:
* Time-served apprenticeship with minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
* Experience in a similar manufacturing/engineering environment
* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
* Proactive, reliable and flexible with a positive, “can-do” approach
* Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively across departments
