We are looking for an experienced, organised and values-led Location Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our CQC registered domiciliary care service based in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident care professional who understands the realities of community care and can lead a team with compassion, structure and accountability. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that people receive safe, reliable and person-centred care in their own homes, while supporting care staff to deliver consistently high standards.

As Location Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the local branch, working closely with the Registered Manager/Nominated Individual, care coordinators, senior carers and field staff. You will help maintain compliance with CQC requirements, support service growth, build positive relationships with clients and families, and ensure that care delivery reflects our values of compassion, respect, reliability and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

You will oversee the daily operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring care calls are planned, covered and delivered safely. You will support care planning, risk assessments, reviews and quality monitoring, making sure records are accurate, up to date and reflective of each client’s needs and preferences.

You will supervise and support care staff, including carrying out spot checks, competency observations, return-to-work meetings, supervisions and performance conversations where required. You will also contribute to recruitment, onboarding, staff retention and workforce planning to ensure the service has a reliable and well-supported care team.

A key part of the role will involve building trusted relationships with clients, families, local professionals and commissioners. You will respond to concerns promptly, support complaint resolution, monitor safeguarding risks and promote a culture where quality, dignity and safety are never compromised.

You will also support business development by helping the service grow sustainably, maintaining good local knowledge and ensuring that new packages of care are assessed and implemented safely.

About You

We are looking for someone who has strong experience within domiciliary care, homecare, supported living or a closely related adult social care setting. You may already be working as a Location Manager, Care Manager, Branch Manager, Deputy Manager, Care Coordinator, Senior Coordinator or Field Care Supervisor and feel ready to take the next step.

You should have a good working knowledge of CQC expectations, safeguarding, person-centred care, medication management, care planning and risk assessment. You must be confident managing staff, communicating with families and professionals, and dealing with the operational pressures that come with running a busy care service.

You will need to be calm under pressure, practical, solution-focused and able to lead with both kindness and firmness. Strong IT, record-keeping and communication skills are essential.

2. Good understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards

6. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

7. Right to work in the UK

Desirable

* Level 3 or Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care

* Experience using electronic care planning or rostering systems

* Experience supporting older people, people with dementia, and physical disabilities
