We are looking for passionate Personal Advisers to join our Children, Young People & Culture team in the Bury area! This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children in care and care leavers, supporting them to achieve their potential and transition successfully into adulthood.
What You’ll Do:
Support the implementation of care & pathway plans for children and young people
Prepare young people for independence and adulthood, providing advice on education, training, accommodation, and wellbeing
Maintain strong relationships with carers, families, and professionals to provide holistic support
Promote participation through group work, social opportunities, and advocacy for children in care and care leavers
Work flexibly across different local authority establishments with some evening and weekend commitments
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children, adolescents, or families in a professional setting
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills
Knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and care planning
