We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS4 Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Haringey area for a September start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to inspire and engage students across Key Stage 4 within a well-resourced and inclusive school environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Science lessons to KS4 students, helping pupils develop strong subject knowledge, confidence, and exam preparation skills.

The school is seeking a teacher who can create engaging and differentiated lessons while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging KS4 Science lessons

* Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities

* Prepare students for GCSE examinations

* Assess, monitor, and track student progress

* Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

* Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff

* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Experience teaching Science at KS4 level

* Strong subject knowledge across Science disciplines

* Excellent classroom management skills

* Passion for teaching and student achievement

* Ability to engage and motivate learners
