Are you an enthusiastic KS2 Supply Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Retford? Academics are partnering with a range of welcoming primary schools in and around Retford who are seeking dedicated KS2 teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Years 3-6.

Position: KS2 Supply Teacher
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Flexible, temporary ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date to suit you

About the Role

As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will support pupils' academic progress while maintaining high standards of teaching and behaviour. You may work across different year groups, making this role ideal for teachers seeking variety, flexibility or the opportunity to gain experience in different school settings.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging KS2 lessons across the national curriculum
* Adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
* Foster a positive and focused learning environment
* Monitor and assess pupil progress
* Promote positive behaviour and engagement
* Work effectively with school staff and leadership teams
* Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Experience teaching KS2 (Years 3-6)
Confident classroom management skills
Flexible, reliable and professional approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
