Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Your day may involve preparing food tray sets and conduction temperature and quality checks.
* Other duties include checking stock and flight trollies, unloading incoming trollies from flights in preparation for cleaning.
* General washing, sorting, assembling and packing of airport equipment. Stripping airlines trollies and delivering to relevant departments.
* Sealing flight canisters, trolleys and recording numbers.
* Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is desirable but not essential. You must be able to work shifts and be keen to learn. In addition to job - related training, you will develop your skills in team work, time management, multi-tasking, communication and attention to detail.
SPECIFIC DUTIES BY DEPARTMENT
Day to day duties within the kitchen:
* Pack food liners in accordance with written specification
* From specification, accurately make up sample and product for all classes
* Conduct temperature, quality, and product date checks
* Seal flight canisters, trolleys and record numbers
* Ensure correct marshalling of flights to Dispatch bays in assigned stowing order
Shifts: Must be able to work a mix of shifts, including weekends.
Qualifications: Educated to High School level.
Work Experience
Good standard of English both written and verbal
Working knowledge of Basic Hygiene
Ideally some experience in a production/manufacturing/stores environment
Experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Skills & Knowledge
Good understanding of English both reading and writing
Good Customer Service skills
Positive attitude to work
Able to work to tight deadlines
Team worker
