We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-known, quality-led gastro pub for a Junior Sous Chef to join a growing, food-focused kitchen brigade. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Senior CDP or Junior Sous looking to step up in a supportive, well-structured environment.

Responsibilities as Junior Sous Chef

Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
Be hands-on during service, leading sections and supporting the brigade
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
Assist with stock control, ordering, and GP awareness
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards are followed
Help train and develop junior chefs
Contribute ideas to seasonal menus and specials
What We’re Looking For

Experience as a Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef
Strong fresh-food background
Confident, calm, and organised during service
A team player who leads by example
Ambition to develop and progress within a quality kitchen
