We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused engineer to join our expanding team covering Surrey and South West London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, or electrical systems who is looking to build a long-term career with ongoing training, support, and progression opportunities.

You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, carrying out installations, planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, and reactive service calls across a varied portfolio of commercial and residential sites.

The Role

As a Junior Fire & Security Engineer, you will act as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a first-class service experience from start to finish. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, installing, and troubleshooting a range of fire and security systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Service, maintain and repair Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems

* Attend planned maintenance visits and reactive breakdown calls

* Assist with and undertake new system installations

* Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently

* Ensure all work is completed in line with customer SLAs and KPIs

* Complete accurate service reports and documentation using the company operating platform

* Upload all required documentation promptly and accurately

* Manage vehicle stock and equipment effectively

* Build strong relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service

* Identify and report deficiencies or recommended improvements to existing systems

* Produce quotations for small remedial works where required

* Support trainee engineers and contribute to team development

* Participate in the 24-hour on-call rota

* Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment

* Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company standards

About You

We are looking for a proactive engineer with a positive attitude and a strong customer focus.

Essential Requirements

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Basic electrical knowledge and understanding

* Previous experience within Fire & Security, Electrical, or Building Services environments

Desirable Experience

* Fire Alarm Systems – essential

* Intruder Alarm Systems – optional

* CCTV Systems - optional

* Access Control Systems – optional
