Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Monitor and assess IT systems for vulnerabilities.
Respond to security breaches and threats promptly.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to improve security measures.
Manage IT security team and provide guidance.
Person Specifications
Must Have
Experience in IT security management.
Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
Ability to analyze and mitigate security risks.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Nice to Have
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
Experience in public sector organizations.
Familiarity with Bradford Metropolitan District Council systems.
