We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an IT Infrastructure & Security Technician to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and security of a busy and evolving IT environment.

Key responsibilities
* Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure including networks, servers and user devices
* Support LAN, WAN, switches, Hyper-V, SAN and telephony systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and security incidents
* Assist with patching, updates and vulnerability remediation
* Support audit preparation including Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and GDPR
* Maintain security controls, policies and documentation
* Assist with IT stock management and procurement
* Support security awareness and training tracking
* Work with wider teams to resolve incidents in line with SLAs
What we are looking for
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IT role
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
* Experience with helpdesk systems and ticketing tools
Desirable
* Knowledge of O365, Hyper-V, Meraki or endpoint management tools
* Understanding of cyber security frameworks and practices
* Relevant qualifications such as CompTIA Security+
