We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected business operating within the construction and building materials sector. Known for its reliability, technical expertise, and long‑standing customer relationships, this organisation offers a fast‑paced yet supportive sales environment.

The OpportunityAs an Internal Sales Executive, you’ll play a vital role in supporting contractors, developers, and trade customers by managing enquiries from initial quotation through to order completion. Working closely with suppliers, warehouse teams, and external sales colleagues, you’ll help deliver solutions that keep projects moving. This is a varied and commercially focused role with clear scope for development.

Key Responsibilities
Handling inbound sales enquiries from construction and trade customers
Producing accurate and competitive quotations for projects of varying scale
Managing orders from sale through to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met
Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Monitoring live projects using an internal ERP system
Supporting external sales teams with pricing, availability, and lead times
Delivering consistently high levels of customer serviceWhat We’re Looking For
Minimum 12 months’ experience in internal sales, sales support, or a similar role
Previous exposure to the construction, building materials, or technical products sector is highly desirable
Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a busy, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience beneficialWhat’s On Offer
