Job title: Hydrocarbon accountant advisor

Length: 2 months
Available for both full or part time work
Critical Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally prudent manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and HSEQ procedures
• Accurate and timely reporting of production data to meet commercial and internal and external obligations
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence Level:
• Management of entry of data required for allocations in the Hydrocarbon Management System (HMS) for all operated and non-operated assets
• Daily statement reporting (gas and liquids)
• Weekly, Monthly reporting
• Monthly allocation and reconciliation, provide results for verification
• Verify volumes content of transportation and processing tariff invoices in accordance with the relevant commercial agreement, report any inconsistencies
• Identify and report on routine issues arising from discrepancies in data arising from current or historical data issues, report any inconsistencies. Support troubleshooting and assist to resolve as required
• Support scheduling of FPS shipping programmes for all Operated assets and monitoring Non-Operated availabilities
• Building strong working relationships with internal and external Stakeholders to ensure accurate, open and timely communication of hydrocarbon allocation data
• Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager

Critical Skills, Qualifications Experience, etc.:
• Higher level education in a relevant subject or appropriate experience and skills in the job
• Production data and allocations system experience and good understanding of commercial requirements
• Strong analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication and a high level of numeracy skills
• Advanced computer skills (demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and database systems)
• Basic knowledge of metering systems and principles of metering uncertainty and how they are used in the allocation process
• Good team worker e.g. able to liaise comfortably with engineering and commercial functions
• Ability to plan and organise workload and multi-task
• Self-motivated with strong initiative. A proactive approach to problem solving, attention to detail, a high level of personal initiative and sense of urgency
