HR & Executive Assistant

£35,000-£40,000 (FTE), part time, 27.5 hours per week, Flexible hours between the hours 8:30-17:00, Based in Skipton, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (FTE), benefits include rewards and recognition, discounts on retail, shopping, leisure, travel, accommodation and wellbeing.

Are you a highly organised administrator who combines HR and payroll expertise with first-class executive support? If so, we are currently recruiting an HR & Executive Assistant for an industry-leading manufacturing and supply company based in Skipton. This varied, trusted role offers the opportunity to become a central point of contact for employees, external providers and company directors.

As HR & Executive Assistant you will report to the directors of the business. This is a brand new role that has been created following a retirement plan and restructure of workload. The main purpose would be to work closely with the appointed HR consultancy and payroll firms. You will be an integral part of the business, implementing a new payroll system and you will also provide executive assistance to the directors.

Key responsibilities of the HR & Executive Assistant:

Coordinate day-to-day HR administration across the full employee life cycle
Liaise directly with the outsourced HR and payroll providers
Coordinate the implementation of a new payroll system
Maintain employee records, the company handbook and associated HR documentation
Administer the company pension scheme and employee benefits
Manage company credit card expenses administration.
Schedule executive meetings, prepare documentation and distribute accurate minutes
Provide dependable administrative support to the Directors
Coordinate statutory submissions, including annual Companies House Confirmation Statements and Office for National Statistics surveys
Ensure processes comply with company policies and relevant statutory requirements.

Requirements:

Previous experience in HR administration and payroll coordination
A practical understanding of the employee lifecycle and the importance of confidential, accurate record keeping.
Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and confidence checking payroll and employee data
Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
Previous experience implementing a new system would be a great asset
Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR, payroll or business administration systems
Experience of pensions, benefits, fleet, insurance or statutory submissions would be advantageous
