WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
*
Providing day-to-day HR advice, guidance and coaching to managers and employees across the business.
*
Managing a range of employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance matters.
*
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee development and performance management activities.
*
Advising on HR policies, procedures and UK employment legislation to ensure a fair and consistent approach.
*
Supporting HR projects, organisational change and wider people initiatives designed to improve engagement, retention and the employee experience.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
*
Previous experience as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or in a similar role.
*
A CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification, or progress towards one, would be advantageous.
*
Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical experience managing employee relations cases.
*
The confidence to advise, coach and constructively challenge managers at all levels, from the shop floor through to senior management.
*
Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
*
Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
*
A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, combined with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
