We are looking for compassionate and experienced Male and Female Support Workers/Carers to provide high-quality support to children and young people with complex care needs in their homes and within the community.
Responsibilities:
* Provide safe, consistent, and person-centred support within the home and community.
* Deliver high-quality care tailored to each child's individual needs and care plan.
* Support with communication, emotional regulation, personal care, and daily living activities where required.
* Plan and facilitate engaging, structured, and sensory-friendly activities that promote development, independence, and wellbeing.
* Encourage participation in community-based activities while ensuring the child's safety and comfort.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and other professionals involved in their care.
* Accurately record care provided and report any concerns in line with safeguarding procedures.
Requirements
* Must hold a full UK driving licence and own a reliable car for travelling to client locations and supporting community-based activities.
* At least 6 months' recent UK care experience, preferably supporting children or young people with additional or complex needs.
* Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, communication needs, or complex behaviours is desirable.
* Training in areas such as trauma-informed care, safeguarding, positive behaviour support, or sensory-aware care is advantageous.
* Compassionate, patient, reliable, and confident in delivering person-centred care.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
