We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive school in Worksop for an experienced HLTA to join their team on a part-time basis. This HLTA role is for three days per week (Wednesday to Friday) and will involve supporting teaching and learning across all year groups within the school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys variety in their work and is comfortable supporting pupils across different age groups. The successful HLTA will play a key role in supporting the wider teaching team and helping pupils reach their full potential.
The Role
As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across the school. The HLTA will deliver pre-planned lessons when required, work with small groups of pupils, and provide additional support to ensure pupils remain engaged and progressing in their learning.
HLTA Responsibilities

Deliver lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher as a HLTA

Provide classroom support across multiple year groups
*
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
*
Support pupils with varying abilities and learning needs
*
Assist teachers with classroom management and learning activities
*
Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment as a HLTA
HLTA Requirements
*
HLTA qualification or relevant HLTA experience
*
Experience supporting learning in a school environment
*
Confidence working across a range of year groups
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
*
A proactive and flexible approach expected from a HLTA
