We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our client's team. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents with their day-to-day needs and help them live with dignity, comfort, and respect. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities

Care Duties:

* Support residents with all aspects of daily living, including washing, dressing, and mobility assistance.

* Maintain dignity, respect, and comfort for all residents at all times.

* Provide emotional and physical support, paying particular attention to those with limited mobility or cognitive difficulties.

* Assist with meal times, ensuring dietary needs are met and residents are supported appropriately.

* Respond promptly to call bells and assist residents as needed.

* Keep residents’ rooms clean, tidy, and comfortable, and care for their clothing and belongings.

* Assist in the care of residents who are approaching the end of life with sensitivity and compassion.

* Maintain accurate daily records and follow care plans in line with company policies.

* Promote continence and assist with toileting as needed.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and visitors.

Participate in staff meetings and handovers.

Health & Safety:

Follow all health and safety, fire, and infection control policies.

Report accidents, hazards, or faulty equipment promptly.

Promote safe working practices at all times.

General:

Uphold the good reputation of our client.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Ensure the security and cleanliness of the home are always maintained.

Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by senior staff.

Requirements

You must have minimum 1 years UK experience within a care home setting

You must have an enhanced Adult DBS on the online update service

You must have all mandatory training certificates

You should possess strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and team members.

You are a compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.

You have the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required, as part of a dedicated team.
