Healthcare Assistant Support Worker

Assist in the observation, care, and welfare of patients

* Help patients with their personal hygiene needs, including bathing, dressing, and using the toilet

* Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring patients with physical disabilities

* Monitor and record patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.

* Support in carrying out health care procedures, such as wound dressings and sample collection

* Prepare and serve meals, assist with feeding patients if required

* Communicate with patients and their families, answering questions and providing information

* Clean and maintain medical equipment

* Support administrative tasks, including maintaining and updating patient records

* Help healthcare professionals during the examination, treatment and procedures
