Pay Rates: Weekdays £14.50 | Weeknights £15.00 | Saturdays £15.50 | Sundays £15.50 | Bank Holidays £16.50 per hour

Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time Nights
Shifts: 10-hour shifts | 9:00pm–7:00am or 10:00pm–8:00am

Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to develop your clinical skills in complex care? Join Apollo Home Healthcare and make a real difference by providing dedicated 1:1 care to a baby girl with complex healthcare needs as she transitions from hospital to her family home.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll complete paid shadowing and specialist clinical training at James Paget Hospital in Great Yarmouth before supporting our client in her home in Lowestoft. Previous complex care experience isn't required. If you have at least 3 months' experience in a care role, we'll provide all the specialist training you need to succeed.

About the Healthcare Assistant Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will:

* Deliver compassionate 1:1 care throughout the night

* Support oxygen therapy and complete oxygen saturation monitoring

* Provide nasal and oral suctioning

* Administer PEG-J feeds and nebuliser treatments

* Monitor for seizure activity and changes in wellbeing

* Assist with positioning, postural support and skin integrity

* Support communication through non-verbal cues and early Makaton

* Work closely with the child's family and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding person-centred care

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this Healthcare Assistant role, you'll have:

* A minimum of 3 months' care experience

* Clear communication skills

* A caring, patient and compassionate approach

* A willingness to learn specialist clinical skills through funded training
