About the Role:
We are currently recruiting a Full-Time Day Healthcare Assistants to join our dedicated care team in a nursing home based in Ballynahinch for Days and Nights. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in residents’ lives by providing high-quality care and support throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
* Support residents with mobility and ensure comfort and safety throughout the day.
* Monitor and record residents’ wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and caring environment.
* Work collaboratively as part of a professional and compassionate team.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting is desirable but not essential.
* A caring, empathetic, and patient attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work day shifts and remain alert and focused throughout.
* Up-to-date training or willingness to complete training as required.
