Belmont Recruitment is urgently looking to speak with experienced Band 3 Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs) for ongoing locum opportunities within a secure male estate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a high-paced, secure setting where you'll be part of a dedicated healthcare team delivering essential care services.
Shifts: Early (07:00–16:45) / Long Days (07:00–20:15) – Including weekends
Pay Rate: £15.65 - £19.00 per hour (dependant on shift pattern)
Location: Secure male Category B estate (exact location disclosed upon application)
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting patients throughout their journey – from reception to discharge
*
Conducting initial health screenings upon reception
*
Delivering agreed care packages in line with clinical plans
*
Undertaking physical health observations and clinical checks
*
Running healthcare clinics including Phlebotomy, ECGs, and NHS Health Checks
*
Participating in the on-site emergency response team when needed
Essential Requirements:
*
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
*
All MAST training up to date
*
One of the following:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent clinical experience
*
NHS Care Certificate with relevant hands-on experience
*
Current prison clearance (essential for this role)
