About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in Walsall. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support individuals with mobility and daily living activities.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration where required.
Observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing.
Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
Promote independence, dignity, and choice.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families.Essential Requirements
Previous care experience is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility and reliability to work shifts.
Right to work in the UK.Desirable Requirements
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training preferred but not essential.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, learning disabilities, or mental health conditions.Mandatory Training Successful applicants must have completed, or be willing to complete, the following training:
