Health Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities

* Environment: Ensuring patient areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked.

* Communication: Communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues to provide reassurance and comfort.

* Specialised Care: In GP settings, this may include wound care, stitching removal, and assisting with minor surgeries.

* Patient Care: Washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding patients.

* Clinical Support: Measuring vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight), taking blood samples, and updating records.

* Mobility: Assisting with patient movement and using lifting equipment
